Commissioning of the first system for generating electricity from waste heat, in the Völklingen-Fenne cogeneration plant. Unsupervised operation under the demanding safety standard of the German Federal Mining Act.

Transfer of know-how gained from R&D for the automotive industry to a new ORC energy recovery system for industry, using waste heat from stationary systems.
